    Studied International Studies, Economics and Chinese Studies at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He studied abroad in Dalian, China and went on multiple service immersion trips in Appalachia and Jamaica during college. He was a Passionist Volunteer International in the Diocese of Mandeville, Jamaica for one year after graduation and is passionate about promoting global solidarity and spreading awareness of poverty issues through service immersion experiences. He believes the most important way to serve those in poverty is through accompaniment, being in relationship and partnership with them, while focusing on sustainable development.

    Kenneth Coleman has assisted International Samaritan in recent years with quantitative and qualitative research endeavors among beneficiaries of programs supported by International Samaritan, as well as among our mission trip volunteers. Currently an independent qualitative research consultant, Coleman has worked in the market research industry and as an academic specializing in Latin America. His academic appointments have included the Universities of Kentucky, North Carolina and New Mexico in this country and as a Fulbright Lecturer in Mexico, Venezuela and Nicaragua.

A. in adult education, with current studies in Project and Financial Management, as well as degrees in pedagogy and educational management. Is a business and technical-vocational teacher, specializing in the development of skills for labor insertion and re-engineering. Certified trainer of trainers, virtual teacher and second language instructor. Has worked in management and as an education and curriculum specialist for RTI and Mercy Corps with USAID projects, and in projects with the IDB, UNDP, UNESCO and has worked in international development for 10 years.

She also holds certificates in human rights studies, specializing in youth. In 2010 she was recognized for her work in advocating for the rights of youth and was sent as one of two representatives from Guatemala to Colombia to be a part of the development of a global Decalogue of young children and youth from the catholic organization BICE. She also received recognition from the Office of Human Rights of the Archbishop.
