During Lent, we’re speaking out for the millions of children around the world who live and work in garbage dumps.

Children who live and work in garbage dumps go without so much: food, water, education, and even shoes on their feet.

In the parable of the Good Samaritan, these children are “the man,” left on the side of the road, looked over, and disregarded by so many. So we are asking you to be their Good Samaritan and make the Samaritan Sacrifice today.

This year for Lent will you:

    • Make a donation? Will you sacrifice the cost of a new pair of shoes to make sure children aren’t left barefoot in these unsafe conditions?
    • Pray for our Samaritan Scholars? Pray for God to guide them, help them in their studies, and give them hope as they look toward a future away from the dump site.
